Are these kitchen cleaning products safe for my tap finish (chrome, brass, brushed steel or gold)?

Yes — the range is formulated to be safe on a wide variety of tap finishes including chrome, stainless steel, brass, brushed steel and gold. Use a soft microfibre cloth and follow the label directions; avoid abrasive pads on plated or gold finishes. For delicate gold or aged brass, work gently and polish off any residue promptly to protect the finish. If you’re unsure, test on a small hidden area first.

Can these cleaners remove limescale and stubborn watermarks, and how quickly will you see results?

These products are designed specifically to tackle limescale and watermarks, so you’ll usually see visible improvement after a single application. Spray or apply, let the cleaner sit for the time instructed, then wipe and buff — light deposits often come off immediately, while heavy limescale might need a second treatment or a short soak. Always rinse thoroughly afterwards to avoid streaking.

Will a kitchen cleaner really restore a scratched sink to look new?

Cleaners and care creams can significantly reduce the appearance of light scratches and remove stains so the sink looks much brighter, but they won’t remove deep gouges. For stainless steel, a product such as Reginox Care Cream will clean, protect and bring back a satin shine when you rub with the grain. If you have deep scratches you may need specialist restoration, but routine use of these products will prevent further wear and improve overall appearance.

Which product should you use for a stainless steel sink versus a brass tap?

For stainless steel sinks the Reginox Care Cream is specifically marketed to maintain and protect INOX surfaces, restoring shine and guarding against stains. For brass or mixed-metal taps, a general-purpose tap cleaner such as the Cramer Tap Cleaner 750ml will remove watermarks and grime across chrome, brass and brushed finishes. Use a soft cloth, work with the metal’s grain on steel, and buff to a shine on brass or chrome.

How often should you use these cleaners to keep your kitchen taps and sinks looking their best?

Light daily or weekly wiping prevents limescale build-up, while a focused polish with a specialist cleaner once a month keeps finishes bright and protected. For hard-water areas you might need to treat taps more frequently to stop deposits setting. After cleaning, always dry and buff with a soft cloth to maintain the finish and extend the time between treatments.
